Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple
Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu god Guruvayurappan (a four-armed affiliation of the Hindus god Vishnu),located in the town of Guruvayur in Kerala, India. It is one of the most important places of worship for Hindus of Kerala and is often referred to as Bhuloka Vaikunta,which translates to as "Holy Abode of Vishnu on Earth".
Punnathurkotta Elephant palace
Punnathurkotta was once the palace of a local ruler, but the palace grounds are now used to house the elephants belonging to the Guruvayoor temple, and has been renamed Anakkotta (meaning "Elephant Fort").The Elephant Camp is located in Punnathur Kotta, at a distance of 3 km from the Guruvayur Temple. This Elephant Camp houses 58 elephants in 11.5 acres of land and is home to the largest number of captive elephants.

The Institute of Mural Painting is situated at the east gate of the Guruvayur Temple and is managed by Guruvayur Devaswom. It was established in 1989 by Shri Mammiyoor Krishnankutty, By finding space for mural art outside the temples, he advocated for its recognition as a legacy. When Guruvayoor Devaswam wanted to renovate its murals after a fire in the early 1970s temple murals were renovated under Mammiyur Krishnan Kutty Nair's guidance.
